Donnie getting ready to race....

Donnie Johnson is 11 years old, he is from Sumter, South Carolina and races at Florence Motor Speedway, in Timmonsville, SC.

Donnie started racing in 2006 in the Young Guns Class. He won 4 races and finished 2nd  7 times.

Donnie is a rising 6th grader at Furman Middle School and attended Pocalla Springs Elementary School. 
Donnie loves to work on his car or anyones car, he likes to fish, hunt and work.

Donnie is A/B student and enjoys math and science.

Donnie is the son of Danny and Tammy Johnson and the brother of DJ Johnson. Racing is in Donnie's blood his grandfather Lee Johnson was a ledgen around SC, his dad Danny as won hundreds of races and several championships.  Donnie's Uncle Gene Coker, Cousin Clint, Tony, Chris & Brian Coker all race.  As well as his Aunt Nancy Swaygert, Cousin Scooter Way and Uncle  Bobby and Howard Johnson.  His Uncle Buck Ardis and Uncle Ricky Atckinson, Uncle Steve Rogers, Uncle Stan Way, Uncle Ray Geddings and Uncle Ricky Player, Uncle Curtis Johnston all raced also.

  So racing is a part of his life.
